Description: Using good “living” books, this class will instill a love of learning and a desire to read. It will open the doorway that leads to personal growth and an appreciation for the wonders of the world surrounding us. Join me on an adventure that uses picture books to open the door to art, history, vocabulary, geography, science, human relationships, math and writing. Details: Each week, I will read a picture book and we will study aspects of the book and story as a springboard to learning many new things. The first week we read the book we will focus on Geography, Culture, and History The second week we will reread the same book and focus on Math and Science.
